How do I search for a property?

When you search for a property on OpenDoors, you can narrow your options by selecting whether you are buying or renting and using the filters. Each property listed on our website has up to date photos, description, floorplan and a virtual tour to help you check if the property is right for you.

How can I create an online account?

Registering with OpenDoors only take a few minutes. Click here to start the process. You will be asked to enter some basic information about yourself (including your title, name, address, e-mail address and contact number). You can then set-up a password and you are ready to go!

Just to confirm there is no charge at all to register and we will never spam you.

What does my online account offer?

Via your online account you will be able to save your property search criteria such as location of interest, number of bedrooms, price range etc. such that whenever a new property is added to the OpenDoors website matching your criteria you will be notified immediately.

Your account will also have a wishlist section with your favourite properties as well as a live calendar where you will be able to keep track and manage your viewings.

How can I save properties I like?

On the page of the property you are interested in click the ‘Add to Wishlist’ button and the property is automatically saved to your Wishlist in your account. Notification e-mails will then be sent to you when there are changes to that property such as a price drop or an under offer status.

How do I create a 'Search Alert'?

Simply enter your search criteria in the search bar and in the top right hand corner of the results page click 'Create Search Alert'. This will send you an automated email whenever new properties are added to our website that match your search criteria.

You can create as many search alerts as you want and are able to manage them all in your account.

How can I book a viewing?

Users can book viewings any time day or night. Viewings can be booked easily on our website by selecting the property you would like to view and clicking on the ‘Request a Viewing’ button. You are then redirected to a page with the property’s viewing availability and asked to select a date and time for your viewing.

You can also easily view and manage your viewing calendar via your OpenDoors account.

Viewings will need to be confirmed 24 hours prior to your booking, otherwise the viewing will be cancelled.

Can I suggest/recommend an alternative date for a viewing that is marked as not available?

Yes. All you need to do is submit the date and time of your preference for the property in question via our online enquiry form and we will get back to you approving the slot or offering an alternative.

How can I make an offer?

Offers can be made by contacting OpenDoors directly either via our representative who conducted the viewing or via our online enquiry form.

What is included in my selling/renting fee?

Everything is included other than the cost of an EPC (if you need one). OpenDoors offers a comprehensive service including professional advice and support. We manage viewings, property descriptions, floorplans, photos and online virtual tours so you won’t have to. There are no hidden fees or charges.

What happens if I do not sell/rent my property?

Should your property be on the market longer than expected, we will help you review your options. We will look at everything such as all of your previous viewings and feedback, ways to boost your viewings and we will re-evaluate the local market including details of what is selling/renting in the area. You will not be liable for any fees until the property has sold/rented.

Yes, you can still use OpenDoors. You can choose to instruct us straight away and set the date for your marketing to start as the day your current agreement comes to an end. You could also instruct us as an additional agent, subject to the terms of your existing agency agreement.

What are your Terms and Conditions if I agree to sell or let through you?

How do I arrange a valuation?

You can arrange a valuation directly on our website. Simply click here and follow the on-screen instructions. Once a valuation date has been scheduled we will visit your home, provide a comparative market analysis and talk to you about aspects, which may affect its potential value.

How do I register?

The landlord’s account is created by administration using your email address and a random generated password provided to you for login. Once you sign in to your account, you can change your password at any time. If you are already registered as a buyer, the relevant property listings tab will be added to your account.

Can I see all of my viewings, feedback and click rates?

You will be able to see everything with the click of a button on your personal OpenDoors account.

When do I pay my fees?

All of our customers are only liable to pay a fee to OpenDoors when the property sells or rents and the legal process is complete.
